the walls of their school publications. Campus journalism has long been considered an avenue for the development of one\u2019s skills, values, and understanding of the press. While it plays a crucial role in the growth of future journalists, questions remain about whether the current system truly prepares them for the realities of journalism in the professional world.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many journalists, both in the campus and professional setting, stressed lapses in the current journalistic landscape of the Philippines, all which circle back to the weaknesses of the Campus Journalism Act of 1991. With the act being indefinite, weakly implemented, and outdated, it fails to address the current needs of\u00a0 campus journalists.
